Multibody dynamics analysis of vibration of angular ball bearing for space equipment due to mechanical factors
Reaction wheel for space, which controls the attitude of an artificial satellite, uses combined angular ball bearings and it is necessary to extremely reduce the vibration of the bearings in rotation. There are mechanical factors, such as non- circularity of the raceway as the cause of the vibration of the ball bearing, and effects of them on radial vibration need to be estimated by conducting experiments and analysis in the actual axis system. We are trying to clarify those effects by performing multibody dynamics analysis of bearing unit.
